Before you apply.
Can you write the grant application for us?
We help you prepare it: which program fits, whether you are eligible, what to apply for, and the quote in the program's format. You lodge it yourself, because the Queensland programs will not accept an application lodged by the supplier named in it, and you sign the declarations. There is no charge for the check or the quote, and no success fee.
What happens if the grant is not approved?
Nothing is owed. The engagement starts only when the grant is approved, with the program's payment and reporting rules written into the proposal. If you would like to go ahead anyway, the quote stands at the same fixed fee.
Which services do the grants usually cover?
The Queensland programs have paid for professional business advice such as financial planning and budgeting, operational efficiency reviews and strategic planning. In Wickham's list that is the 13-Week Cash Flow Forecast, the Business Backbone Review, the Pricing and Profitability Review, and for the larger grant the Business Operating System Setup and Connected Reporting. Each program's page says exactly what it funds.
Is Wickham a related party?
No. The programs exclude suppliers with common directors, shareholders, employees or family ties to the applicant. Wickham Advisory is an independent practice with no interest in your business, and the proposal says so.
How will I know when a round opens?
Rounds often open with about two weeks' notice and close within a fortnight. Send us a note from this page and we will tell you when a program that covers your work opens, with the quote ready to attach.
